Our race is famous for the outstanding volunteers from the greater Madison area who help make this a favorite race of solo and relay runners year after year.

We need volunteers for the following shifts:

• Day Before

  • 1:30-5:30PM Packet Pickup

• Race Day

  • 6AM - 9:30AM

  • 9:30AM - 1PM

  • 1PM - 4:30PM

  • 4:30PM - 8PM

Volunteer Opportunities

We need volunteers for the following areas:

• Packet Pickup

• Course Monitor

• Course Direction

• Aid Stations

• Clean Up

• Bike Lead for each event

• ​

When you volunteer for a shifts totaling 8 hours or more

you get a free entry into next years race.
